Scheduling & Appointments
How do I schedule my first appointment?
To book your first visit, start by creating a free account on our booking page.* Once your account is set up, choose the service you’d like and pick a date and time that feels right for you.

Before your session, please complete the consent form and client intake form in the portal so we’re ready to support you. You’ll receive a confirmation email with all the details once your appointment is set.

For new Abdominal Therapy clients I will send a separate health history that would be helpful to have returned a few days before your appointment.

*returning Pekoe clients please use your original log in, it should still work here.

My password isn’t working, how can I schedule appointments and log in?
If your password isn’t working, you can reset it by clicking the “Forgot Password” link on the login page. Follow the instructions to create a new password, then log in to schedule your appointments as usual. If you still have trouble, contact us and we’ll help you get back into your account.
What if I’m sick?
If you have symptoms of illness such as fever, cough, sore throat, or stomach upset PLEASE reschedule. There’s no penalty for canceling due to illness. I want you to rest and recover, and to keep the space safe for others. Do reach out to cancel as soon as possible so we can make the appointment available for re-booking.
How do I change or cancel my appointment?
You can update your appointment through the online booking link in your confirmation email, or by contacting me directly. If you ever have trouble accessing your account, I’m happy to assist.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged the full session fee, except in cases of illness or emergency. Please contact me as soon as possible if something comes up? Life happens, and we’ll work together.
Why is a credit card required to hold an appointment?
We ask for a credit card to hold your appointment so your chosen time is reserved just for you. This helps us keep the schedule open for clients who are ready to commit and reduces last-minute cancellations. You won’t be charged when booking. Your card is only used if the appointment is missed or canceled outside our policy.
Do you offer weekend appointments?
YES! I am in office most Saturdays from 10am-6pm.
Arrival & Massage Experience
What should I do when I arrive?
When you enter the building, please come in and make yourself at home. Feel free to have a glass of water, use the restroom, get comfy. I will come and find you shortly before your appointment begins. This is your time to settle in and relax before your session starts.

As we are in a studio with multiple relaxation services going on I ask that you silence your phone. Let’s wait til were in the room to chat?

What can I expect during my first visit?
Each session begins with a brief check-in about your goals, health history, and any areas of focus or concern. I’ll explain what to expect during your treatment and make sure you feel comfortable with the plan.

You’ll always be appropriately draped with a sheet or blanket, and only the area being worked on will be uncovered. You’re welcome to talk or remain quiet; this is your time, and I’ll follow your lead.

What should I do during a massage?
You don’t need to do anything special. Take a few deep breaths, allow your body to rest, and let me know if you need more or less pressure, or if something feels uncomfortable. Communication is always welcome, and adjustments are part of good care.
How do I let you know what I need during my session?
Your comfort and the results you want are very important. I’ve been practicing for many years and am constantly learning what people need to fully receive during a massage. It’s also not about me and if we need to reset multiple times thats ok! While your session is your time to rest, it’s also a co-creative process: your feedback helps guide the experience.

You’re always welcome to share if the pressure, technique, room temperature, or music isn’t right. If words are overwhelming for you, help me understand how you would like to communicate. This helps keep you safe, comfortable, and able to fully benefit from your session.

What if I need to change my service during the appointment?
We can usually adjust your service based on what you need that day. No problem at all. This is time for you. Any changes that affect appointment time or price will be discussed with you first. Extending a session or adding a service would be based on schedule availability. Changing a modality is ok too!

Ex: You scheduled a massage but are feeling more like a craniosacral therapy session would be helpful, I’d agree as you know your body best.

Specialty Services – Prenatal, Fertility & Peristeam
Do you offer prenatal massage?
Yes! I offer bodywork during any phase of a fertility or pregnancy journey, and many clients come in even before they know they’re expecting. I have advanced training in prenatal bodywork and feel comfortable working with anyone who is not considered high risk due to a medical concern. We can have a conversation beforehand if that helps you feel more comfortable. And if it feels right to wait until the timing is better, that’s perfectly okay. I’m here to support you whenever you’re ready. All bodies are welcome.
Do you offer induction massage?
Sort of…I offer bodywork to support pregnancy as well as massage that may help with gentle preparation for labor. We can begin sessions a few months before your expected due date to support your body’s needs and help balance the uterus in preparation for birthing. Sessions are tailored to your needs, and we can discuss what feels right for you before starting.

Keep in mind too, A singular standalone massage can be enough to help your body come to a place of rest to finish its birth prep processes. I don’t like to call this induction massage because we really don’t always know why labor has not begun, certainly being in a restful space and balanced within can help.

Also, it’s really fabulous for those aches and pains towards the end of pregnancy.

Do you offer fertility support massage?
Yes! Fertility support massage is part of our Abdominal Therapy program. We typically like to start sessions about three months before you’re trying to conceive though may begin at any point, each session is tailored to where you are along your timeline.
What is pelvic steaming like? What should I expect at the Sacred Balance appointment?
Pelvic steaming is a gentle, relaxing practice where you sit over a warm herbal steam to support circulation, balance, and overall reproductive health. It can be helpful in releasing low back and pelvic floor pain and may help with endometriosis and fibroid discomfort.

The Sacred Balance appointment includes the steam as well as supportive bodywork, creating a nurturing experience for your pelvis and nervous system.

Sessions are designed to help you feel grounded, calm, and restored. You will be provided a robe or gown for privacy and therapist presence during steam is at your discretion. Please feel free to reach out for more information.

Safety, Accessibility & Inclusivity
Is your practice LGBTQIA+, queer-, and trans-friendly? 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
Yep. Or at least I sure hope so! This is a space for queer rest and relaxation. Bring all of yourself. My practice is intentional in welcoming people of all genders, bodies, and identities. I honor everyone’s right to feel safe in their body.
Is the office accessible?
There’s a parking lot behind the building with a ramp for easy entry into the main space. My massage table is height-adjustable and mobility friendly.

However, please note that my treatment room itself is on the smaller side, which may make wheelchair access or maneuvering limited. If you use mobility aids or have specific accessibility needs, please reach out before booking so we can discuss options and make sure you’ll be comfortable.

Do you provide translation services for clients who are Deaf or hard of hearing?
I don’t currently have the budget to provide an interpreter for your session. I’m happy to work with you in a way that feels right. I have supported Deaf and HoH clients in the past and feel confident we can find a way to communicate effectively.

I apologize that I am unable to sign or provide a translation service and am committed to making the session work for you.

Do I need to wear a mask?
Wearing a mask is completely optional! Choose what makes you feel most comfortable. I’m happy to wear a mask during your session if that helps you feel safe and supported. I work with immunocompromised folks from time to time and I am more than happy to wear a mask for their comfort. I do ask that if you are experiencing an illness that we reschedule primarily for your own safety.
Hygiene & Allergies
How is the space cleaned between clients?
All linens are changed between each session. High-touch surfaces are wiped down with peroxide disinfectant wipes. Massage tools and equipment are thoroughly disinfected between each use. Handwashing protocols are followed rigorously before and after every session to maintain a safe and sanitary environment. I use low-odor, non-toxic cleaning products and follow current hygiene and infection control guidelines to protect the health of all clients.
What if I have allergies or sensitivities?
Please share any allergies or scent sensitivities before your appointment. Unscented oils and hypoallergenic options are always available. The primary massage oil used is unscented fractionated coconut oil. The space is cleaned with fragrance-free, low-toxin disinfectants. Non latex nitrile gloves are used during any mouth work sessions. I also use a far infrared Biomat on the table that is warming. If you have a heat sensitivity, let me know your preference so we can get that turned off prior to your visit.
Payment & Insurance
Payments and Insurance
Payment is due at time of service. I accept credit cards, debit cards, FSA/HSA cards, checks, and cash for payment. I do not accept or file for insurance reimbursement.
Can I get a SuperBill for insurance or HSA/FSA reimbursement?
